Appeal & Flexibility:  

Using the Hallmark Scrapbook Studio can prove very complex and challenging, with many features entirely inaccessible. While the finished product can be impressive, actually going about producing it is another matter.

Importing:  

With Hallmark Scrapbook Studio, you can import images, objects, photos and clip art from a digital camera, scanner or from any computer file; Hallmark offers all the importing features you’d expect from scrapbooking software.

Design Features:  

The special effects section of the Hallmark Scrapbook Studio is noteworthy, with an assortment of effects and embellishments to choose from. The Hallmark Scrapbook Studio also includes a good deal of prefabricated templates. The program also comes with a  variety of backgrounds, frames, borders and clip art. Clip art images can also be added manually, but you’ll need to access the help section and walk through the process.

Output Options:  

Hallmark Scrapbook Studio allows you to send your scrapbook creations out as email attachments or save them to a file. When printing, there are only two default page sizes available when printing your creations (but you can manually adjust page size to any size you wish). You can also save scrapbook projects to disc or to a file on your PC. You can create a single scrapbook page layout. The program does not automatically create album categories for you, but you can do this manually.

Ease of Use:  

The Hallmark Scrapbook Studio tools aren't always the most helpful or easy to use. Making alterations and modifications to prefabricated templates and designs can prove very difficult.

Help & Support:  

The help section of Hallmark Scrapbook Studio is well written, logically organized, and comprehensive. But Hallmark doesn’t provide an email address or telephone number for support, and they offer only a brief FAQs section on their website.

Hallmark Scrapbook Studio has a professional look and feel, but lacks the features to set itself apart from other scrapbooking software suites. It lacks multimedia features and advanced importing and exporting options, making for a mediocre product.
